Who we are

FORE!01(k) was founded in February 2023 by Sean Thomas. The mission is to provide a way for our partners in the retirement plan field to get together in a casual environment to share ideas and make new contacts. All while having fun.

Board Members

Sean Thomas, Founder: Sean is a partner of Wells Thomas, LLC, an independent TPA firm with locations in Branford and West Hartford. Horrible at golf, he insisted each round is played as a scramble to make sure no one sees how truly pathetic his swing can be.

Joshua MacDonald, Founding Board Member: Josh is well known in the retirement plan world, but we don’t hold that against him! He is one of the driving forces that keeps FORE!01(k) on the right path…just make sure he’s not the one driving the cart!

Robert Roya, Founding Board Member: Rob Roya the Destroya! Our co-pilot who has helped connect us with the right courses, he’s also the silent ringer. If he’s in your foursome, you’ve got a good chance of winning.

Kris Thomas, Honorary Board Member: Though not currently an active player, Kris is a partner of Wells Thomas, LLC and actively supports FORE!01(k). Be sure to look for her at some of the events…and try to convince her to take a swing!
